Red Net MK — how your data is used.
Red Net MK uses this app to run events, track attendance, and manage membership and payments. An admin of the club is responsible for the data described here — get in touch with any admin (in person, or however you’d normally reach the club) with questions or requests.
We don’t ask for or store your date of birth — membership here is by admin approval, not age verification.
If you add an emergency contact, their name and phone number are stored so an admin can reach them in a genuine emergency at an event. They’re never shown to other members and are only ever used for that purpose.
Admins can see membership, attendance, and payment details in order to run the club. Other members generally see your name, profile photo and public participation (e.g. who’s joined an event) — never your emergency contact, payment history, or (unless you’ve shared it yourself) anyone else’s individual rating of you.
Website enquiries are visible only to authorised membership admins and are used to reply to you or prepare a membership invitation. Invitation links are private, expire automatically, work once, and store only a non-reversible token hash in the database.
When we send you a notification email, your email address is passed to our email delivery provider solely to deliver that message — it isn’t used for anything else. You can turn off email notifications, or just some kinds of them, at any time under Notifications on your Profile; payment confirmations and account-safety messages are always sent. Account-safety messages, such as a sign-in on a device you haven’t used before, are always emailed. To spot those, we remember the kinds of device (for example “Chrome on Mac”) your account has signed in on.
This app uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and one that remembers your device’s time zone so times can be shown in your local time. It doesn’t use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies of any kind.
For each device you sign in on, we keep the browser’s own description (for example “Chrome on Mac”), when you signed in and roughly when you last used it, so you can see your signed-in devices and sign out any you don’t recognise. These records are removed when you sign the device out or change your password; once a sign-in expires (about 30 days) its record is cleared automatically the next time anyone signs in to the app.
If you leave the club, we anonymise your personal data after 24 months — club records that need to persist longer (like payment history) keep the transaction but drop what identifies you as the person behind it.
To ask for a copy of what we hold about you, contact an admin directly. To delete your account, use “Delete my account” on your Profile page; a club admin confirms it once nothing is owed. Your name, contact details, photo, login, notifications, messages and ratings are then removed, while payment, attendance and match records are kept as “Former member” because the club genuinely needs them.
